Instructions to the teacher trainees for teaching practice
Ø Be a true teacher in all aspects.
Ø Be regular and punctual. Reach the school before assembly.
Ø Reach the class at correct time according to school time table.
Ø Follow the rules of school.
Ø Keep modesty in your words, actions and appearance.
Ø Participate in both curricular and co-curricular activities as a dedicated teacher.
Ø Give respect and take respect. Respect the teaching and non-teaching staffs of the school.
Ø Be polite and friendly while dealing with the students.
Ø Be the master of your subject.
Ø Prepare lesson plans and related learning materials in advance.
Ø Ensure the signature of the teacher educator and concerned teacher in your lesson plans and all learning materials.
Ø Never enter the classroom without the lesson plan and sufficient learning materials.
Ø Keep a record of your teaching manuals up to date.
Ø Keep a Reflective Journal* to write down the reflections of your teaching.
Ø It is desirable to develop at least two lessons (i.e., IT enabled/PowerPoint) using ICT.
Ø It is desirable that the trainees shall observe some lessons of their peers at the internship schools.
Ø Conduct two physical education classes and one health education class with prepared lesson plans.
Ø Try to solve problems with students (if any) yourself. Don’t report complaints to authorities/teachers of the school as much as possible.
Ø Be in contact with peers and your optional teacher regularly.
Ø Convey your difficulties (if any) to college (option teacher).

Ø A Student Teacher should enter their classroom with;
·        Teaching Manual duly signed by the teacher educator and concerned teacher.
·        Adequate learning materials duly signed by the teacher educator and concerned teacher.
·        Chalk, duster and pointer.

Fill the response column of the teaching manual immediately after each class.
